The body in the fridge of the room that you meet eddie in, there is also a bedroom right next to the bathroom that you fibd eddie puking his brains out in.It has football magazines, posters, a helment.
Does this mean that Eddie did kill the man it the fridge?

I dont think the room with the football stuff is relevant to the guy in the fridge, I think he shot the football guy in a different town, and fled to Silent Hill. I could be very well wrong, because then the foot ball room wouldnt serve a point if it did in the first place. Either way, Eddy probably killed the guy.

The guy in the fridge is Eddie. Or the part of Eddie he wanted, once, to be.

What? He says that he shot a guy in the knee and he wont be able to play foot ball afterwards and there is a bedroom with football stuff. How does that staement work?
Unless he refers to himself in the thrid person and sot himself.

The guy in the fridge wasn't the one he shot, so he didn't shoot himself. Remember where you fight Ed? In a big freezer, and the body was in a fridge, so it coordinates. The football room is there as a mere concidence. I think.

There are no concidences, didn't you learn that from Signs the movie?
No really,I don't think it was a concidence.

It's symbolism. Like almost everything else in Silent Hill.

The guy in the fridge is not Football guy. He's shooting monsters. I think Adversary might be right, it could symbolize him killing his own dreams and ambitions, and the football regalia could possibly be an extension of that.

To expand upon my previous statement:

The fellow in the refrigerator is what Eddie desired: thin, lanky. I believe it may tie in with what Silent Hill 2 originally had been, before it was altered significantly. It was also a part of him that couldn't survive--he couldn't survive himself.

The apartments act as grounds for foreshadowing; in each room the Trinity is met, there's significance to them later on. Eddie Dombrowski is killed in a refrigerator, and there his desire lay, dead, in a refrigerator. Angela Orosco encounters her father, Thomas, in a room--in the Labyrinth--with the same white door that leads to the mirror-room in the apartments. And James... well, he finds himself dead, staring at an identical television as the one he learns the truth in: Room 312.

The Adversary is right.
I didn't really start thinking about it until my second playthrough, because it can be quite difficult to make your connections the first time around. These are very important points in the game.

About the football posters, I had a topic similar a while ago, but it was just in silly fun, just like in the game. It's a silly little reference hint. Good, nonetheless.

I didn't even notice until I had played about twenty times, which is kinda sad.

Wow, I thought nothing more than just it being a guy who was killed by Eddie.

I need to play the game again.

Loving all this!

How would you figure? The idea that it was the guy who was waiting at Bar Neely's makes more sense then that.

That is INCREDIBLE! There are probably tons of other things that I've missed in this game.

If I were Adversary I'd have the world's biggest ego... That theory is flawless!

He's a very grounded person. Y'know. Down to Earth. And RPH I can't really understand what you're trying to say.. I don't mean this in an insulting way at all, but is English your first language?
