Re: randomness? (or how to get diner sexy Cybil?)
The real question here is how to get to that diner. I'm in a bar 24/7 and I don't know how to stop myself from getting there. I answer all the questions in opposite ways and BOOM, still getting the bar. I love drinking. I hate drinking. Always the same.

Re: Rumor: Multiplayer Only Game
Yeah. I just got an update on Facebook (since I am a fan of SH) that showed an entire article about how this idea was scrapped suring the beginning on the game's development. It's just not a main series title to have multiplayer.

Re: Audio sample of Daniel Licht's soundtrack
I really enjoy the atmosphere of the song, depressing, haunting, chilling. It's got a very lonely feel to it. and I think that is what makes a SH a unique play.

Bad translations? haha.
When I say I am going to kill my brother, I don't get out a gun or anything. We'll never understand Japan. Don't try.

Re: One thing SH3 does that separates from other horror game
Yeah. Each game has moments that define it for the player. I am not sure if Origins has one of those break out scenes for me that makes a more lasting impression than others... but there are parts of the game that excite me far more than most. Like the stage for instance. The idea of changing the sc...

Well, that is a whole plot that could really make my head spin. haha. But why not. If they do it, I'll enjoy it either way. I hope he was the kid in class that messed with her the most. And ready to have your skull shattered? Heather is the final boss. Solved. Although I do hope they fo a different ...

Alright, HOLD on! Why would my giant raw shock be appalling? hahahaha. I mean, it's not like one formula is the only one that would work. And if the mind is attempting to hide a secret, the bigger the enemy, the better the result? Idk. There has to be some way that you can cause variety in the game!...

Re: Emotionless James
The most awkward moments are with James and Maria, but it's not necessarily bad acting. Games just hire a different breed of voice actors that have a more monotorobotic way of talking.

Re: Silent Hill 2 too easy?
Yeah. SH2 is the only one I have completed on Hard. And the only difficult part is up through the first Pyramid Head battle. After that, it's almost the same as normal. But the apartments are harder than normal before you get the gun. I have to play SH3 on Hard one of these days. I want to play it t...

Sorry Erin, but... no. haha. Pheonix Down cures the KO condition... or Knocked Out. So, it's just making someone conscious and strong again. It doesn't actually bring the dead back to life. Once you're dead, you're dead... and become part of the lifestream. Also, I could never let Eileen die. My fir...

Does walter have to do the killings in order for them to be considered part of the 21? Deep questions from da' Neo. See what I did there? lol

Re: Origins is the best Silent Hill game ever made
Which boss was the easiest for you then? I guess the Sanitarium boss was pretty easy too. But at least she could get in some good hits if you weren't careful, or tried using a melee weapon. The Butcher was easier IMO, but the camera angles did add a little suspense. The location for the fight was ki...

Re: One thing SH3 does that separates from other horror game
Yeah, it does hurt you after a while. But it definitely is the most resonant moment of that game. If there was a moment in SH3 that you could point to as the shining moment, it was that part.
Just like for SH4, it's the Eileen's Head room. The art in that game was just awesome at some points. haha.

Re: How this game could have been fixed.
I am not sure they should be set as to a certain amount of time apart. Like, every 15 minutes, no matter where you are, there they are. haha. But random encounters in specific areas would be very nice. Just, you exploring after 15 minutes of nothing but dead time, and the room changes slightly and a...

Re: Origins is the best Silent Hill game ever made
LMAO. Lord of the Rings reject. The Flauros Demon does kind of look like a fucked up Balrog now that I think about it. And as for the Butcher... YEAH. He was kind of unimpressive. They were definitely trying to make this haunting figure on par with the popularity of the Pyramid Head... but they just...

Okay, we're squared away on the mirrors. Check. I have been talking about those damn things since I got here. haha. and as for the Flauros demon... I have no idea. Yeah, I mean, it kind of makes sense that he imagined the entire encounter. He didn't seem like the Ultimate boss I was hoping for. I me...

Re: anyone want more Occult references?
I have no idea what you mean by pregnant skeleton, but that seems like an oxymoron. More details, or a picture, or something! And yes, I am not progogating that they have occult items in the game for fun, but because they make the story work. As long as it makes sense, I will be all about it. I don'...

Re: How this game could have been fixed.
I love the idea of having randomized nightmare encounters. But of course, they would need the running sequences as well, so we have an objective at certain points. And the game would subtly hint at which time it'll be... whether or not this is a survival sequence, or a chase sequence. That would def...

Re: replaying Silent Hill 3, thoughts and things I noticed
I despise it when TVs won't show everything. I had to use a tiny TV to play my way through RE3 my first time, and it was just... TEH FRUSTRATION. lol.
I tried SH3 again, but it still freezes. I tried toothpasting it, but it didn't do much. anyone else have any other suggestions?
