Silent Hill Heaven

I would absolutely love to see Downpour's side quest system in another Silent Hill game.

This will be their first game with combat.

I think Silent Hill could benefit from taking a Twilight Zone approach and have each game set in a universe that isn't necessarily connected to any of the other games.

There is very little in that trailer that actually looks or feels like Silent Hill. This was already my least anticipated part of the Silent Hill revival and that trailer lowered my expectations even further.

Hopefully we get some more info about the other projects soon.

I feel like Dusk is easily one of the most accurate and reliable leakers around. I don't get the hate for him at all.

I think it's mostly younger people. I definitely had that extreme type of opinion about certain things as a teen.

Most people mellow out as they age and realize that other people are allowed to like different things.

We got nothing.

I could see Angela and Eddie being completely omitted but I expect they'll be there in some form.

Silent Hill 2 remake release date please

Downpour is my favorite game but I couldn't imagine harassing somebody over their opinion on it. People suck.

I kind of hope it hasn't been canceled. I would hate for that Silent Hill presentation to have a canceled project before we even see one release from it.

I think this could be alleviated with some redesigning of the levels. Make each level more expansive and have the player only explore about half the level in each trip to it.

I think Silent Hill 4 is definitely the game that needs a remake the most. It has some great ideas but overall the execution of those ideas is severely lacking at times.

I'm hoping for a Playstation showcase or State of Play with Silent Hill 2 remake as the main attraction.

Was there a distance sign in Downpour? I remember one from the beginning of Shattered Memories near where Harry crashes but I don't remember seeing one in any of the other games.

I would be so down for more Silent Hill remakes.

Yeah I'm hoping this new influx of games revitalizes the franchise. I don't necessarily want/need the Resident Evil yearly release treatment but I'd like to not have to wait a decade for a game again.

What if James is to Jacob what Maria was to Mary in the original game? Jacob and Mary both having the same last name could be a hint at them being the married couple instead with James being a creation of the town.
