We do, it's true. Though, we've also been conditioned to by a decade of bad news stories about studios, employees, and games getting canned. Both within Silent Hill and without.

For the US Copy, the disk is different. It's mostly black with a shot of James' face looking out out of the closet where he sees Pyramid Head.
There's no reverse cover but the other side does have a bit of the map behind the info printed on it.
Back of the box is much better, though.
