Re: Did Heather go to locksmith technical school?

I just like to imagine the handle broke off when they try to open it, and they just slide it back on while glancing around to see if anyone noticed.

Re: Silent Hill 2: Enhanced Edition

It's been really great to catch tid-bits of info on their updates as they continue to work on this. It will make it much easier to play in the future. Installed SH2 on my desktop, after realizing my last install was on a laptop close to 8 years ago. Forgot how rough it was trying to play it with mou...

Re: PC Mod incoming...

If I recall right, wasn't the Scarlet boss fight also plagued with an issue where players were unable to progress through the game past that point? Don't remember the specifics, but if the mod helps remedy that problem, what a major improvement that makes for the quality of the PC version of the game.

Re: Lost Silent Hill 2 mo-cap footage.

That's a really great find, and it's nice that there is some kind of documentation for this stuff.
It would have been a shame if it had been lost.

Well they were just being sarcastic with the above... I clicked towards the end of the second video to see what it was you had mentioned about their salient points, and that segment was what I landed on. It was such a "...what did I expect?" kind of moment, I felt I should share. But more...

Re: Silent Hills cancelled

Sure, it's entirely within the realm of possibility. Nintendo has had Legend of Zelda games developed by Capcom, for instance. However, possible and likely are two very different things.

I can give you one part, Aura- "Yes, our opinions and reviews are so important to Tomm that he did us the honor of writing us into the game and then pointing it out to us on multiple occasions to saw that he did. Unfortunately for those people that find our reviews less than enjoyable, that mea...

Re: Downpour Cons ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

That's unfortunate to hear, since I never felt those elements occupied that much of Downpour in the grand scheme of things. How did you feel about the town design and exploration in comparison to how Homecoming handled it? The town felt much more of a place to poke around and spend time than Homecom...

Re: Junji Ito

I actually know nothing about Junji Ito. Is there anything in particular that made him a good fit for this series? I've ordered the one volume edition of Uzumaki, btw, but it was pretty much a blind buy. Ito has a strong sense of atmosphere and building dread in his work. The thing he is most accom...

Re: Who is Vincent talking to?

I somehow doubt that they anticipated Walter being a fixture in a latter game when that was written. It was most likely a bit of content they thought would be fun to take liberties with while designing SH4.

I feel that is highly unlikely. Homecoming wasn't exactly on anyone's mind yet, at the time of SH3's release.

Re: Silent Hills cancelled

Standard PR message and people are getting upset. Why am I surprised? That "rumor" is ridiculous. Not because of the microsoft angle, but because of everything else. The "80%" done is stupid (besides putting a percentage of completion on a piece of media) because there is no way ...

Re: Do not delete P.T. Its gone from the library section

I can understand removing a teaser for a game that will never be released from PSN, but eradicating it to those who downloaded but deleted it? This seems rather excessive. Someone high-up at Konami really hates Kojima, apparently. I bet it's less to do with Kojima and more to do with Norman Reedus'...

Re: Silent Hills cancelled

Also, I want to play devil's advocate a little bit, in response to some people who said that Silent Hills would have made tons of money. That's not necessarily true. I do agree that the game had a lot of potential, and probably would have done very well... but it also would have had a huge budget. ...
