Re: Haunted Wheelchairs

^She was probably wheeled into the hospital on a gurney, then got stitched up and put in casts; after getting found and rescued by Henry, she limped out of the hospital along with him. It would make sense, except it just doesn't add up chronologically--there was no time for her to use one, and the w...

Re: Re-write Revelation!

What's the point in banning wiki links? And the thread is to rewrite the story however you think it should've been done. Now do you have an actual contribution or what? Relax, I just wanted to know if this is for freestyling or sticking to an adaption of SH3. The replies say we're doing the latter,...

Re: Re-write Revelation!

^I like that--it's a lot more in-line with the game, but without alienating the fans of the first movie. Congratulations, you're already a better screenwriter than Michael J Bassett. :D Okay, so my idea for Revelation is like this: Dark Alessa and Sharon fused at the end of SH1TM and Rose and Sharon...

Re: I Saw It! Post Your Reviews Here! (Mark your spoilers, t

^No, that nitpicky detail was reserved for the Pokémon battle at the end of the film. I mean, that was awesome and all, but it just oozed fanservice. Not that fanservice is always a BAD thing, but when it comes at the expense of plot coherence and a good movie, it ends up just screwing us over. Tha...

Re-write Revelation!

Okay, so most of us fans were at least a little... "disgruntled," let's say, about how Michael J. Bassett ended up writing the screenplay for Silent Hill: Revelation. Perhaps the character development wasn't quite up to snuff, or the pacing was too fast/slow/inconsistent/too consistent/wha...

Re: Which ending was the REAL ending?

I don't know, the True Ending seems to be the In Water ending, because CLEARLY James has had to drink water all his life--otherwise he'd DIE! Now, the situation is REVERSED--water is going to KILL HIM this time!

I saw Revelation the day it came out, in 2D, although I'm only just now getting an opportunity to review it. I really don't feel like yelling about this any more, so I'll just list what I think are the pros and cons. Pros: Adelaide's performance as Heather is fantastic The soundtrack works incredibl...

Re: Music of Silent Hill Revelations

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn sings in the last song in the movie, the one that plays during the credits. I think it's called "Silent Scream," and it's original to the movie. It was amazing! Hearing her voice with a heavy metal sound playing behind it just fit so well. :)

Re: Music of Silent Hill Revelations

Thanks, you guys! This sounds wonderful, from what I'm hearing on the preview page.

Guess this means I have to save up some cash for this shit, cause I am SO buying it! :D

Re: Music of Silent Hill Revelations

I think this thread fits my question, and hey, no reason to clog up the boards with unnecessary threads. Is the soundtrack for Silent Hill Revelation going to be released? I haven't heard anything about it so far, which doesn't bode particularly well if you ask me, but since I don't know for certain...

So... if you disregard the last page and a half of flame-warring, is it safe to say that the dead guy at the bridge is technically James?

Re: Who Is the Dead Guy By the Bridge?

^There probably will be tons of it. I mean, Book of Memories isn't even out yet, and it's causing so much "FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU--" within the fandom. That only has two players! Just imagine the rage of the Silent Hylians if they made it an MMORPG. It'd be hilarious. Oh, yeah, I found anothe...

Re: Lisa was not murdered.

^Hmm, makes sense, I suppose. It would have been fairly easy for Dr. Kaufmann to spike her drugs with something extra that would react badly with her and kill her, or perhaps he distilled it into an overly-purified form that, when the same amount is taken as the regular stuff, would cause an overdose.

Re: Here it is guys! OFFICIAL Silent Hill: Revelation TRAILE

Ever consider that Rose has actually been alive this entire time? For all we know, she could simply have been kept in stasis or something, keeping her as she was at the end of the previous movie. Or she could be part of an immersive memory, like what happened during the cult flashbacks in the first ...

Re: Which ending was the REAL ending?

Besides, I think it's safe to assume that James believes in an afterlife. In Bar Neely's, he sees a message painted on the wall that went something like "If you really want to see Mary, then you should just die." It wouldn't be saying that if it didn't mean anything to him, you know? And a...

Re: What monsters do you think will be in the movie/want to

I was watching the trailer, and I noticed that during the part where Heather starts zoning out in the hallway at school, she sees a monster wobbling its way toward her in the Otherworldly school. Looked an awful lot like one of those Strait Jacket monsters...

Re: Here it is guys! OFFICIAL Silent Hill: Revelation TRAILE

^Oh, makes sense. I just rewatched the trailer again, and I caught something I missed the first few times around: Chris calls her "Sharon" on the phone call where he tells her to hurry home. Could be that you're right. But now that I'm thinking about it, do they ever refer to her as "...

Re: Here it is guys! OFFICIAL Silent Hill: Revelation TRAILE

This is the Silent Hill fandom, guys. Anytime they do just about anything, someone gets belligerent and whiny, cause we are an unpleasable fanbase. It's just how it works here: they have to try and please as many of us as they can, since they'll never get us all. Two things jump out at me about Chri...

Re: Here it is guys! OFFICIAL Silent Hill: Revelation TRAILE

I really, really enjoyed this trailer. It's a bit flashy, sure, but that's the point--if it's not immediately attention-grabbing and interesting, then no-one except a roomful of Silent Hill diehards (that would be us) would want to see it. The 3D aspect gives it some extra depth, and will probably e...

Re: Which ending was the REAL ending?

^See, here's the thing about your argument that I don't agree with: it's based on the idea that the town cares whether or not he lives or dies. It doesn't. It's a haunted town, not fully sentient or in posession of any kind of morals or emotions. It's not there to make him love, or live, or even to ...
