Silent Hill Heaven

Origins had the most similarity to the first four games. To me, it felt like Silent Hill. It didn't have quite as much effort behind it as it should have, but it was still good. Great music. Great atmosphere.

I don't think the new premise of Silent Hill is aliens. This broadcast strikes me as something that is just creepy and not at all part of the main game's story. At least I hope not.

The problem is, open world in Silent Hill doesn't mean a lot. Being able to explore every building could be detrimental to the experience, and even if you could, what would be put in there? Needs a fifth option "I don't mind". Because I truely do not. While I'd prefer third person (if it is done right with fixed and cinematic cameras), I wouldn't be an less happy if it was in third person. Seven games in, I think we can deal with such a change.

I found Licht's work on Downpour dreadful. Totally uninspired and completely the wrong composer for the series.

I really do think it is just a case of "reboot" and differentiation to the original game and series.

I'll say though, I LOVE how the title pops up in the trailer. SO simple. No artistic font, just white screen, black text. It's beautiful.

I've been wondering the same thing. I don't really mind, but as I've said a few times, I'd much prefer they drop the S and just call everything Silent Hill as per usual.

I think it would be weird to have the title "Silent Hills" and the town "Silent Hill" though.
