Hardly surprising. The trailers and adverts have been less than stellar, and after the first film, my hopes aren't high. Honestly, I love SH, but in recent years Downpour and the associated comics have turned out to be diamonds in a lot of rough.

The only thing that bugs me is the lack of subtlety, especially with the big "COME TO SILENT HILL" message.

Can someone tell me where the first radio can be found? I've found stuff online saying by the bus, but I searched that area for close to an hour and found nothing.

Does anybody else think it's crazy that this is still being debated after eight years?

Honestly, the only thing that pissed me off is fans going on about how they want Team Silent to make it. It's pretty clear that TS no longer want to do SH, games, so why would people want them to? I'd rather have people who actually enjoy making the game, because they'd be more likely to put effort ...

Another game worth checking out is Call of Cthulu. I haven't played Penumbra, but it sounds similar to CoC.

However, I do feel the urge to call you out on an earlier comment saying that films that do well in the box office lack quality. I take that statement and raise you The Dark Knight.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance here, but I thought that the prison was further east than we'd ever seen in an SH game before. Please bear in mind that it's been years since I played SH1 and I haven't passed the beginning of SH0.

Good trailer. Couple of observations.

1. The cop who says "you're not going anywhere etc" reminds me of Ving Rhames from the Dawn of the Dead remake. Not sure if this is intentional.

2. When Alex shouts "WHERE'S...MY...BROTHER!" it reminded me of "THIS...IS...SPARTA!"
