Re: Rock Drill or chainsaw?

A number of people have weighed in here, so if you want to discuss it further it'd be best to revive that thread. Personally, I love me some rock drill. It's the only one of the two that actually stops your enemies' progress. :P

Re: Got It? Post Your Impressions Here.

Only if you aren't killed by the enemies in that room during those few moments. . .

But really, that's good to know. Maybe I can actually save my health kits and just run away to regroup (if I'm lucky and quick).

Re: Got It? Post Your Impressions Here.

I bought it, I was playing it, I was enjoying it. Then I got to an area that has a bunch of really annoying traps: If you step on them you instantly drop down to one HP. After dying and restarting that level about 6 or 7 times, I decided to take a short break from BoM. Then I discovered I could down...

Since the question has been answered, I'm going to go ahead and close this. We generally only permit threads that actually have a topic for ongoing discussion, but I'm glad your curiosity has been satisfied. :)

We try not to get too petty when people disagree with us. As long as you show proper RESPECK.

Re: Anybody wanna do a little forum runthrough sometime?

Is there any way to add friends if I don't have a PS3?
EDIT: Figured it out. Yay!

My PSN ID is JuriDawn, by the way.

Re: Anybody wanna do a little forum runthrough sometime?

Sounds good to me. I bought my Vita and Book of Memories last week and I'm rather enjoying the game. It may take a bit of doing for me to figure out the multiplayer aspect, though; I haven't owned a portable game system since my old Gameboy. :P

phantomess: That would be pretty awesome. I still haven't made up my mind whether or not to add some sort of cape/drape thingie, but I do have a simple dress that matches pretty well.

Re: Tips playing this game...

1. I actually found combat to be easier when I wasn't blocking. It's just not effective enough to really be worth it, and it damages weapons too much. So just swing away and don't stop until the monster is dead. 2. On the topic of breakable weapons, stick to the sturdier wrenches, fire axes, and cro...

Watch SH: Revelation with other forummers!

As suggested in this thread , I think it'd be great to meet up with other Silent Hill fans to watch the film on opening night. Therefore, this thread can be the place to suggest a nearby theater (or see if another member has suggested one near you) and get an idea of how many fellow members might wa...

Re: the sacrifices!!! *huge spoilers*

The off-topic argument was dropped five months ago and you felt the need to bring it back up just to bait mikefile with a petty insult. If you could maybe not do stuff like that anymore, I'd be ever so grateful. :)

Re: How exactly did Alessa get "pregnant"?

That is in pretty poor taste. I don't recall if there's ever been an official policy against it, but please stay away from rape jokes, even by implication.

Re: How exactly did Alessa get "pregnant"?

There have been a few other sacrifices burned during this same ritual though, around seven or so if I remember correctly, and I doubt they all had the same rank as Alessa. Was that information from Origins or from one of the earlier games? Silent Hill Official Guidebook Complete Edition Q: What wer...

Re: There's no such thing as stupid questions ... Downpour F

Not sure if there is an official timeline or if anyone has even pieced it together roughly, but I know that Anne mentioned that she watched her father for years in a vegetative state. So I’m guessing it’s been a while. And as far as I know, the maximum penalty for stealing a car, at least here,...

Good grief people can be so cynical. . .

"Akira Yamaoka says the movie's gonna be great!"
"Yeah, but he probably doesn't mean it." :|
