Fan remakes SH1 opening in Unreal 5

Have you seen Harry's daughter anywhere? Short, dark hair?

Fan remakes SH1 opening in Unreal 5

Nice attempt. Leaves a lot to be desired though, but the otherworld darkness lit by lighter was nicely done.

Plenty of dunkable material on display, but I'm not gonna dwell on it too much. I just can't see past it enough to appreciate what must be genuine passion for the series getting buried.

I think it's a labor of love and wish the developer to continue working on it.

This kind of fan effort is the reason RE2 Remake saw the light of day.

It's just too bad Konami doesn't care about its franchises anywhere near the degree Capcom still does about theirs.

I don't know. I'm still waiting for a Dino Crisis remake. Capcom just doesn't seem to care...

I realized that this fan remake is giving off a similar vibe to the PlayStation 2 tech demo of Cybil in the cafe. At least for me, anyway. I was an easily impressed person back then, but, man, the possibilities of Silent Hill on a PS2 seemed endless.

I think the technology of today and an abundance of AAA titles have kind of spoiled all of us. It's becoming harder to see the potential of a work because the expectation is that much higher.

Thought this looked pretty good for pre-alpha footage. The fact that they remembered to keep the camera angles fixed is nice.
