There really isn't any other way to reach out to the people who were regulars but didn't know what was going on with the forum while it was down. That would be the most logical place I can think of they would go, and I wouldn't say no to a few new members either, but I also understand if the mods over there don't appreciate the post, so whatever happens is fine.

Well in all fairness, we had easily the best and possibly largest forum back in the day and I was here, so dickery doesn’t seem to affect the forum’s success. ;)

IS there a way you can warn us if SHH is going away, like a blaring a siren?

Not sure if that's just a joke, but SHH does have a Twitter Vixx used to make announcements about the forum after the shutdown.

Plus this thread was a warning far in advance. lol

There's also the Discord. I don't want it to replace the forums in any way, but if something sudden does happen, it's good to have a backup place we can all fall back to.
