That was by far my favourite part out of the whole game, but this topic should probably be discussed here http://silenthillforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=16548

I really didn't think it was one of the best, but I was happy when Holloway died. She was a nasty piece of work.

I liked that part. The desperation was well-placed, I suppose.

Curtis was kind of a dorky fight, but he needed to have his ass kicked.

I was pretty satisfied with that scene. :)

Judge Halloway needed a good drill in the face to get that stick out of her ass. (I don't know how that makes sense, but I'm sticking with it.) :)
Fall, fall, fall, to the bottom of Hell,
Pool of blood, sea of fire, and needle mountains.
Fall man to Hell. Fall, fall, demons of Hell are calling you,
Pool of blood, sea of fire, and needle mountains.
Can't you hear the groan of the dead? Fall, fall, the darkness of Hell is boundless,
Pool of blood, sea of fire, and needle mountains. It is the lullaby of Hell.

Am I the only one who hated that whole part?

Torture scenes just don't do it for me....

The other SH games didn't have to resort to such cheap gore scenes to scare us did they?

^I really didn't see it as a cheap gore scene :/, I felt it was necessary to show how batshit insane Judge Holloway was.

it was pretty good but i wish that thy had thought about it, a 22 year old man who looks kinda buff being nearly overpowered by a 40+ years old lady(unless the order gives him drugs that make him weaker). I dont think so double helix.
what does no man want, but dosent want to lose either?
a lawsuit.

It kind of shocked me at first, because I'm not used to seeing stuff like that (don't watch many films, the only horror game I play is SH) but when it was over I felt rather satisfied. Alex's comment when you examine her body was just the icing on the cake for me.

I hated it. It was such a cheap gore scene.

You know, both Claudia and Dahlia were quite a bit more insane than Holloway and we didn't quite have to drill them in the face. It was completely unnecessary and just used to show you how 'hardcore' the game was. It wasn't a satisfying end for her, either (she killed the whole town and died in a relatively hilarious fashion? Are you kidding me? Make her suffer. Even Alex's dad got worse and he wasn't as bad as she was.). It was the cheesiest, stupidest death in the whole series.

Though I have a beef with Holloway as an antagonist anyway.

Exactly. Great points my friend. It left me feeling like "Is this really a Silent Hill game" or "Hostel. The Video Game"

It wasn't the same as the other death scenes in the other games. It just didn't do it for me. It was different, yes, but I personally hate the "torture" genre, anyway.

It was no worse than Claudia eating a fetus. Grow up, dudes.

Not to mention that it's hardly comparable to Hostel or other torture porn...

It was one of the greatest things I've seen, I love how Alex screamed 'bitch!' as he got out of the chair. Even better when you click on her - 'Judge Holloway lied to all of us, I'm glad she's dead'

I'd love to see more of that if we get an eighth installment.

I don't mind the Drill sequence, it's fitting.

Now, Curtis' circular saw scene? Bleh.

I didnt like it... there could have been a better kill... something cleaner.. maybe a gun shot... slit her throat.. May have been just as messy, but i don't like when it comes to using drills.. chainsaws ok, but drills no.

as wierd as it sounds.
