If I recall right, wasn't the Scarlet boss fight also plagued with an issue where players were unable to progress through the game past that point?
Don't remember the specifics, but if the mod helps remedy that problem, what a major improvement that makes for the quality of the PC version of the game.

Crazy to think it wasn't so long ago that PC ports were this immaterial to a game's success/failure.
