James is from South Ashfield, I guess. His father does live there, and his wife was hospitalized there for a time.

South Ashfield Hights is the apartment building in Sh4. That town is called Ashfield and is not a part of Silent Hill.

So you are telling that the Superintendent from South Ashfield Heights was James' father?

Pretty much, yeah. If you played a little bit into The Room you'd have known that, too.

Of course he is. You can even see a resemblence between James and his father.
If you have played SH4 there are a few scenes where you can get a good look
at his face through the peep hole in your front door.

Not to mention the name 'Sunderland.' That kind of gives it away.

Well, when I first saw that painting in which the Super is referred as "Sunderland" I thought
it was either James but older or some relative, but then I believed that it was a simple coincidence.
Another thing that confused me is that they changed the orphan house name, in SH3 you read an article by Joseph about that place and it was referred as "Hope House" and then you find it again
in SH4 at Mike's room but this time it is referred as "Wish House"... but anyway, I never liked THE ROOM , I just beat it once and never played it again.

The name was changed due to the actual "Wish House" organization.

No one as yet to give a valid reason why Frank is doing that freaky dance every now and then when you look out through that peephole in room 302.

Yes. Remember that the whole series is based on a time frame of many
years so things are subject to change in the town.
