Silent Hill: Cold Heart (original Shattered Memories pitch)

Post by teosoleil »

Wow, haven't posted on here in quite a while.

Someone over on /r/SilentHill posted this: https://www.reddit.com/r/silenthill/com ... ows_about/. It's a detailed pitch for Silent Hill: Cold Heart, the original version of Shattered Memories that featured a new character, story, more dynamic psych evaluation system, and more threatening Otherworld.

Don't know if this has been posted on here before. Hope everyone is doing well! Thoughts?

Climax should have gotten to do a mainline HD whatever sequel. The two games they did were easily the best of the western games in my eyes.

I really would have liked to see what they could have done without being tied to the first game.

I was always miffed that they weren't thrown the keys after SHSM. Then again I'm still miffed that Konami axed Team Silent. That era of Konami was...wow.

Me too. Imagine a bigger budget game, as emotional and experimental as SM. As much as it could've been mediocre, it could've been mind-blowingly amazing.
