10 Years Since Last New Mainline Game

Meant to post this yesterday, as it was the ten year anniversary of Downpour's release.

Pretty sad to think that it's now been a decade since the last main entry in the series.

Wow, kinda hard to believe it's been a decade. Still holding small hope for an announcement to defy modern day Konami logic. Speaking of Downpour, I haven't re-played in about five years...

I remember driving through thick-ass fog on the way to Walmart to pick Downpour up at midnight. I hate that it's been ten years since we last got a Silent Hill game. But man do I love me some Downpour at least.

That is definitely a long time. Still, I'd rather keep the series relatively unspoiled than add a bunch of new titles that continue to miss the mark.
