I just noticed that the two boats by the docks in the Port District have names. DJ Ricks' boat is named "Emma" (for whatever reason), while the other boat's name is "Angela's Fire".

Pretty sure it's safe to assume that it's an SH2 reference.

Not sure about "Emma" though...

This isn't really an easter egg, its more of an odd little detail I noticed on my current play through. In the Devil's Pit diner, look on the wall next to where you pick up the map. There will be a board with the daily specials on it, and it says:
Monday - meat
Tuesday - meat
Wednesday - meat
Thursday - meat
Friday - boiled meat
Saturday - rain
Sunday - fog

^ That's pretty cool! I wonder if he says anything at the end of other songs in different spots of the game.

I've actually gone back and checked the radio parts that I know are in the game after finding out that the Pete's Bowling one happens. There are certain ones where he does say more, but they're mostly him begging for help and saying he doesn't have much time left at the end of the song.

My girlfriend recently brought to my attention that the TV in JP's room, after you turn the dial a couple times (but just before the same TV explodes), you hear a voice reciting the following verse:
Alone, alone, all, all alone,
Alone on a wide wide sea!
And never a saint took pity on
My soul in agony.
For the literary savvy types, this is actually a verse from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. In which some might remember an even more familiar line:
Water, water, every where,
And all the boards did shrink;
Water, water, every where,
Nor any drop to drink.
Reading the whole thing, I am starting to think this poem was a significant inspiration for Downpour.

Or there are simply people that remember reading it in high school? Ancient Mariner is a regularly referenced piece of literature in all types of media/art.

I only vaguely remember ever reading it, but definitely not in a classroom, since I don't recall ever reading the whole thing... and neither does anyone else I know.

But yeah, fff I don't see how Ancient Mariner reads like "bathroom poetry" (no more than anything else that gets referenced in Silent Hill, anyway), but that's just me. I thought it was neat since it got me to find the whole poem.

Yeah, it's a nice catch! I never messed with that stuff enough to have uncovered it.

I just noticed this the other day, but if you stand outside the window before going in to see DJ Ricks and listen, the song playing sounds sort of like Theme of Laura from SH2.
Where is the room where the TV explodes?

Right after the "Here we go, here we go... Key hack...", I believe.

There's one exploding TV in JP's apartment at Devil's pit, and there's another one in the house where you can pick up the pre-order items and possibly find the first Doll.

Where is JP's apartment in Devil's Pit? I am doing a runthrough on the 360 so my son can watch, and I want to go there.

It's the apartment you have to go through before you find the lighter.
