^Yes, and it's hilarious! You can't get it on your first playthrough, however. I'm also a big fan of the joke endings (love your sig, btw) and Downpour's might be my new favorite even if you have to dig for it.

So ... this projection of Silent Hill was Cunningham's, not Murphy's, as evidence by the fact she saw Murph as the Boogeyman? Right?

But ... how come Murph saw the Boogeyman himself on several occasions?

Well their Silent Hills over lapped and Bogeyman was a shared monster, so its possible that it was a combination of ideas from them both, built into one figure, rather than one projection from Cunningham alone.

sorry if this has been addressed already, I couldn't find it through searching, but why is Murphy in prison? I can't figure out what it is he did to get there. And would they really put him in the same place as the guy who killed his son?

1) He stole a police car and took it on a joy ride.
2) Napier wasn't convicted of killing Charlie, he was in prison for other child attacks.

Sorry if this has already been asked....but I distinctly remember being promised that Downpour would have some clear explanations of the geographical distances and orientations-to-each-other of the previous games. Did I miss several dozen memos or something?

Now that you mention it, I vaguely recall someone or something saying that before the game was released. Don't remember the details though.

Some look rather creepy, but don't fit the mold quite as well as the final version, I think.

Stupid but... Weeping Bats? I think I never encountered such monster. They're the ones that are tied and roll around spitting at you?

Wow, I'm surprised (and quite disappointed) though. I missed every Weeping Bat. Never saw any of them in my first playthrough...

As for the concept art of the Bogeyman: I personally prefer the 6th and final versions the most out of them all.

I think remember hearing that the term 'weeping bat' is slang for prisoners, but I could be mistaken.
