It's got a very classic film poster vibe, like the Indiana Jones posters. I like it for that. It's cool seeing the Halo of the Sun--and the characters and monsters themselves--presented in that art style.

Wow, something that aims for some actual composition! Even if it is overtly photoshopped from stills. Still I think the best sort of poster would be something more abstract... But I like it.

It doesn't have too much of a "Silent Hill" vibe to me in terms of style, but I still prefer it over the one here in the U.S.

Reminds me a lot of classic horror-movie/film-era posters.

Makes you think more "What's gonna happen here?" rather than the crappy U.S. 3D trailer.

What the hell, we need this in all theaters. I'd actually try to get a copy of this if I had the money.

I thought Star Wars, since some of it looks fantasy-ish (Claudia) and there's a lot of black.

If all Italian movie posters are like this I kind of wish I lived their.

The Philippians get really great movie posters too.

Does anyone know the international releases for the movie and will it be dubbed or subtitled.

My first thought was also Star Wars. Looks extremely cheesy to me.

Seems like an odd style for Silent Hill tbh.

I agree, it does look slightly cheesey but its still better than the PH poster.

Personally I think it would look better without the nurses there, they kind of make it look cluttered, thats just my opinion though xD

Yeah, seems cheesy. I never cared for that art style and never liked the original Star Wars or Indiana Jones movie posters. This just seems like photoshop work to me, even if good photoshop work. It is better than the Pyramid Head poster, but it's just the lesser of the two evils here.

To avoid mine fields, I'll just say- my God, this is so very typical.

When I first seen this, it cracked me up like no time: the oil painting look, Adelaide's oh so exaggerated tan, the crammed space. It's just- hilarious. This pic just made my day.

Btw. I think it would be lovely if all Revelation posters info would be put in one thread.

I like it, it's so 80's... Damn, somehow this reminds me how awesome used to be the Nightmare on Elm Street posters...

This is quite normal for foreign movie posters.
Poland, Czech Republic and Russia also commonly have movie posters which do not seem to match the movie at all however it is foreigners that complain and when they see USA movie posters they find them weird to look at too.

Here are some Polish Movie Posters for you to look at and try and guess the original movie

I sgree about The Omen, but really? Maybe it's because i'm adjusted to certain styles, but to me every one of those are horrid beyond belief and confuses me as to why Americans get crap for our posters/ cover art.
