I saw no problems with it. I always assumed it was the language used by the original natives of the town. Eileen could have easily studied it. Of course, the more she gets possessed, the better she is at reading it, and she channels more of Walters emotions related to his "logs".
Actually, Does anyone have any good screen shots of the writings? Or better yet, textures? For a while, I kind of thought it looked like Hebrew.
